Four Meditations on Psalm 23:
Everything I Need
– Rest and security in an anxious world
Not Alone
– Even when bad things happen to us or loved ones it’s not the end.
– Protection, Plan and Security in God’s care for us.
The Presence of Evil
– It is a fact of life in this world, but we are not under the power of evil.
– The Power of God always present through Jesus Christ.
A Life That Goes On Forever
– The House of God
– Goodness and Mercy always following us.
– Life as God lives it.
Robin Rauh Bio
Robin was born in Springfield, MA and raised as a Roman Catholic. It became a formative place for what would later be a draw to a sacramental life and monastic retreats. He was ordained in 1980 into the Episcopal Church in Troy, NY. After that He and his wife Penny and their three children moved around the country where he served as rector in Holy Cross, Troy NY, Church of the Apostles, Fairfax VA, St. Stephen’s in Huntsville, AL, and finally in Church of the Epiphany, Herndon, VA. After 17 years as rector, including in the new ACNA Diocese of the Mid Atlantic, he retired in 2014.
Robin also served in the Fairfax County Fire/Rescue as a chaplain and emergency medical technician for ten years. Driving an ambulance, participating in automobile rescues and medical intervention was a way to carry pastoral care skills to medical emergencies. He worked as an EMT in an area retirement village, which was one of must fulfilling times of his vocation.
He now serves as a supply priest in the Diocese of the Mid Atlantic which is very rewarding.
In addition to his vocation as an Anglican priest, he plays in a bluegrass band, practices as an amateur radio operator and creates watercolor paintings.
